JAS is an international, non-asset-based supply chain services and solutions company. Our services include air and ocean freight forwarding, contract logistics, customs brokerage, distribution, inbound logistics, truckload brokerage and other supply chain management services, including consulting, the coordination of purchase orders and customized management services.This position is to execute the GDP compliant warehouse handling tasks (JAS-WW-GDP-DOC-001) based on the Lane Risk Assessment and Lane SOP information. To process daily operation of pharma and healthcare export / import shipments that touch JAS’ own or qualified vendors’ warehouses, including physical handling of Temperature Controlled Packaging, IoT (Internet of Things) Tracking Devices or other data logger types, etc.Responsibilities

Receive and store shipments in warehouse
Review shipment documentation and labeling
Review shipment integrity (e.g., no damage)
Build / break-down of ULDs
Dispatch shipments
Handle goods within the required temperature range as per documentation / SOP, including correct storage
Pre-conditioning, build-up, and break-down of active or passive rental containers (e.g., Envirotainer, CSafe, SkyCell, va-Q-tec, etc.) and passive temperature-controlled packaging (e.g., pallet shippers, thermal blankets, etc.)
Icing / re-icing
Temperature and battery checks of active ULDs
Placement / Retrieval of IoT (Internet of Things) Tracking Devices
Ensuring that relevant customer or internal inquiries and complaints are dealt with efficiently and timely.

Education and Professional Experience

Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
(If an internal hire or promotion) JAS Pharma & Healthcare Level 1 Certification or higher

Warehouse Department’s Adherence to Qualified Carrier and Vendor Management
Customer Satisfaction (surveys, advocacy, etc.) – Warehouse specific data
Non-conformances and CAPA handling – Warehouse specific matters
Other KPIs specific to the Warehouse Department
