Job DescriptionCircle K Energy Trading SA (CKETS) is part of the Global Fuel organization Team and is responsible for the entire Fuel Supply of our European Retail entities as well as the Fuel Trading activities. Fuels in Europe are constantly transitioning to be more sustainable, which reflects the changes in regulations and market demands. Renewable Energy Directive (REDII and REDIII) sets a specific binding target for the EU to achieve the share of renewable energy in its final energy consumption by 2030. It is of crucial importance that Circle-K, all along the supply chain, can secure Fuel Sustainability mass-balancing and maintain Proof of Sustainability of biodiesel, bioethanol, renewable feedstock, or advanced biofuels to grow the business while complying with EU requirements.This position sits at the intersection of Biofuels compliance, data, and commercial decision-making. You will initially take ownership of biofuels compliance, reporting, and mass balance, ensuring a strong and reliable data foundation. As you develop in the role, your focus will increasingly shift toward analytics, optimization, and forward-looking insights, including bio mandate strategy and scenario modelling.Circle K Business Centre in Riga, Latvia, is looking for:Senior Biofuel and Sustainability AnalystType of Employment: Permanent position

Visa requirements: A valid work permit from the EU/EEA (relocation assistance is not provided)Would you like to:Report to the Trading Team and a major player in the international Fuel retail market.Learn from Trading, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Distribution.Engage in a journey with Circle K, whose ambition is to become a preferred destination for Sustainable Fuel in Europe.Get knowledge and build your understanding of Biofuel industry and RED (Renewable Energy Directive) targets and EU climate change requirements.Get knowledge and complete Biofuel reporting set by the National regulatory authorities or Biofuel mandate frameworks.Move beyond reporting into real business impact, shaping how sustainability and regulation translate into commercial decisions.Main Responsibilities:Manage PoS (Proof of Sustainability) registration and verificationEnsure RED (Renewable Energy Directive ) and ISCC (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification) compliance across biofuel transactionsMaintain, reconcile, and monitor biofuel mass balance and volumesPrepare regulatory reports for authorities accurately and on timeCollaborate with Trading, Supply, Logistics, and Sustainability teams to ensure data integrity and alignmentSupport audits, strengthen internal controls, and drive process improvementsGradually take on analytical responsibilities by supporting bio mandate optimization across markets, building and analyzing scenarios (volumes, costs, regulatory changes), identifying opportunities for automation and data model improvements, and translating complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for decision-making.Main requirements:Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Management, or related field.Experience in compliance, controlling, reporting, or data-driven rolesStrong Excel skills, experience with Power BI or other BI tools, is an advantageKnowledge of RED, ISCC, or GHG reporting is advantageous (training can be provided)Experience with ERP or trading systems is beneficial.Excellent English written and verbal communication skills to communicate with colleagues in Europe Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information to stakeholdersCommercial understandingDemonstrates strong analytical skills, attention to detail, effective communication, collaboration, and motivation to grow in the biofuels and sustainability sector.What you can expect at Circle K:For 5 years in a row, Circle K Business Centre has been awarded 1st place in the ‘CV-Online TOP Employer - International Business Services category.’Monthly salary: starting from 2500 EUR gross.Professional, team-oriented working environment with high ethical standards and values.Continuous personal and professional development driven by challenging goals.Opportunity to gain experience in a dynamic Fuel Trading and Retail organization.Solid training and future growth opportunities.Competitive compensation package.Interested?We encourage you to apply by April 26th, 2026!
