Cabot Latvia is seeking a collaborative team player to assist the site Accounting Manager in the recording and accounting for transactions in the legal entity general ledgers, as per supporting documentation, accounting policies and internal control requirements.How You Will Make an ImpactPrepare and execute month end closing activities, including reconciliations.Accurately maintain the fixed assets accounts (additions, depreciations, disposals).Reconcile inventory, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other accounts in close coordination with local site Accounting Manager.Ensure compliance of accounting transactions and activities of the businesses in accordance with appropriate global accounting standards (policies, processes, procedures, work instructions).Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures and standard business practices, as they pertain to the general ledger function, as well as, the Business Service Center, including internal control procedures and Sarbanes-Oxley regulations.What You Will Bring to CabotUniversity degree in accounting, finance or similar discipline or can be a student able to work full time.1+ year of professional experience in accounting, Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable field.Familiarity with general ledger, financial reports and analysis will be considered as an advantage.Good verbal and written communication skills in English.Customer and team-oriented mindset.Practical experience with ERP will be considered as an advantage.Additional Information:Permanent contract.Working hours: 9:00 - 17:30.Health insurance from first day of work.Monthly allowance & yearly bonus.Hybrid work schedule (3 days on site and 2 days’ work from home).Salary:1600 - 2200 EUR Gross.
