ABOUT THE COMPANY:Join ADDENDUM, a global software development and IT team augmentation firm focusing on fintech, banking, and telco industries. Experience tailored benefits, diverse projects with various tech stacks, and opportunities for growth, freedom, and responsibility you desire.ABOUT THE ROLE:Based in Riga, you'll join a team of dedicated professionals in the banking sector, driving Agile delivery within a large-scale IT project. As a Scrum Master you will establish and facilitate effective Agile practices, ensure strong team collaboration, and provide operational leadership for the IT development stream. You will work closely with the Project Manager, analysts, and testers to align roadmaps, manage dependencies, and deliver high-quality results.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
  • Facilitating key Scrum ceremonies (refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives).
  • Driving Agile discipline, backlog transparency, and continuous improvement.
  • Leading the IT stream: planning, coordinating vendor/internal development teams, and ensuring delivery commitments.
  • Supporting roadmap planning, milestone tracking, and integration across multiple delivery streams.
  • Reporting on sprint progress, risks, dependencies, and impediments.
  • Removing blockers, fostering accountability, and coaching teams and stakeholders in Agile practices.
WHAT WE EXPECT:
  • 3 - 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in complex, multi-team environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, or similar scaling frameworks).
  • Hands-on experience in IT development projects, ideally in banking, financial services, or enterprise systems.
  • Proven leadership skills in backlog management, planning, and delivery tracking.
  • Excellent facilitation, stakeholder management, and communication skills (English and Latvian required).
  • Ability to adapt Agile practices pragmatically to fit project needs.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and comfortable with complexity, ambiguity, and change.
