Ensure the timely payment of suppliers and employee expenses, in support of the businesses, functions and sites. The Accounts Payable Manager takes a leading role in resolving problems and driving change management in the team to ensure continuous improvement.How You Will Make an ImpactEnsure good integration of GBS activities within Cabot and the region’s overall organization through effective communication both internally and externally.Ensure good understanding of specific responsibilities throughout the requisition to payment cycle.Manage relationships with key stakeholders. Represent and promote the department and function internally to the broader Cabot organization and externally to our stakeholders and functional community.Actively contribute to the on-going design of GBS processes, both within the center and with the larger Cabot context (global standards) & implement according to the agreed plans.Oversee escalation handling and resolution of non-standard or ambiguous cases.Resolve problems by implementing a throughout root cause analysis, lead change when necessary based on “lessons learned”, proactively seek for improvement opportunities. Ensure all supplier invoices (doc & non-doc), as well as expense reports, are approved and booked accurately as per the accounting established rules and internal control requirements.Optimize the payment dates in order to maintain the lowest possible payment cost, while respecting the agreed due dates.Optimize the most appropriate payment methods and channels.Ensure continuous implementation of automation solutions e-invoicing to reduce manual work.Oversee corporate card creation and usage in accordance to internal procedure and timely issue resolution.Ensure the efficient processing of non-doc invoices/expense reports, including the manual approval process.Establish key deliverables to populate the A/P scorecard to achieve the Continuous Improvement Process targets together with GPO and Operation Manager.Ensure high performance of the team in terms of quality and efficiency, through Performance Based Management, including appropriate training, coaching, delegation and motivation.Own and monitor functional KPIs and drive corrective actions where needed.Ensure high performance of the team in terms of quality and efficiency, through Performance Based Management, including appropriate training, coaching, delegation and motivation.Develop and maintain a culture that supports Cabot Values, teamwork, and high SH&E standards.Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures and standard business practices, as they pertain to GBS, including internal control procedures and Sarbanes-Oxley regulations.Contribute to planning and resource allocation discussions, ensuring the AP function is appropriately staffed and resourced.Support long-term planning for the AP function by identifying process gaps and regional differences, evaluating automation opportunities (including e-invoicing), assessing team capacity, skills, and stakeholder needs, mitigating operational risks (e.g., turnover in transactional teams), contributing to continuous improvement based on performance insightsPerform other duties and job tasks according to employer’s written and verbal orders.What You Will Bring to CabotHigher education or equivalent experience.5+ years of relevant experience in a financial services or other business services functions.Experience in a multinational company with ERP systems will be considered as an advantage.Previous experience in leading people.Strong management and organizational skills: sets clear priorities, ensures timely issue resolution, delegates effectively, and supports team development with empathy.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder influencing skills at all organizational levels.Solid cross functional understanding of service center operations, including finance and accounting, especially requisition to pay.Strong problem solving and prioritization skills, with responsiveness to both internal and external customer needs.Additional Information:Permanent contract.Monthly allowance & Yearly bonus.Health insurance from first day of work.Salary: 2650 - 3800 EUR Gross.
